The Weekend...

Well, Lily has been in her new room since Thursday night and seems to be liking it. I actually have enjoyed it as well. It is really cozy and much more private. I can get Lily out whenever I want to hold her which is so much fun. Her new doctor is really nice and has already picked out Lily a boyfriend across the hall. I of course said I would have to meet him first. She is now 3lb. 14oz. 2 more oz. and she will be 4lbs! Yea...

Greg was able to visit all weekend with her while Thomas and I went to see Santa and have cookies with Mrs. Claus. Greg got to give her a bottle today and she did wonderfully finishing the whole thing within her 3o min. time frame. She is now up to 3 bottles a day and we hope she will be able to tolerate them well and progress quickly to reach the goal of 8 bottles a day. She remains on oxygen which we really struggle with, but she seems to be showing signs that she is getting stronger and her requirements are decreasing ever so slightly.

Please continue to pray that her oxygen requirements decrease and that her nurses will be attentive and wean the oxygen as Lily shows signs she is ready. Also pray that she be able to continue taking her bottles without tiring out and that she be able to keep her body temp. so that she can come out of her isolette. Thanks so much.
