Lily wishes you all a Happy New Year!

Well, Lily and I had a good time last night. I can't say that I got much rest but I enjoyed it anyway. Lily has had another great day, finishing all of her bottles so far. For now, her reflux seems to be under control, so we hope that continues. Tonight she weighed 5lb. 3.2oz. So another weight gain. Yea!! She is really doing very well and trying to prove to everyone that she is ready to go home!! She has had some visits from previous Residents and nurses who had her when she was much smaller and they all are so amazed at her progress. It is always good to see familiar faces.

Lily's issue right now remains with her blood pressure. It continues to be high and even higher than before. They sent another urine sample off today and we are waiting for final results. She will also have repeat labs and a renal ultrasound on Monday, so please be praying that this issue will be resolved quickly. I am soooooooo ready to take her home, and I don't want anything to get in the way.

Please pray specifically that her blood pressure will decrease, that she won't have any long term effects from it, that she continues to eat well, and that her acid reflux stay under control. Thanks so much. Have a good night.
