Good job Lily

Sound asleep...

Checking it all out...

Yea, Lily is still on nasal cannula and doing wonderful. She was doing so good that they turned her down to 1 liter. Way to go Lily!!! She is still eating through her feeding tube and tolerating her 25cc feeds every 3 hours. She is still 2 lb. and 11 oz. She is loving being able to move her head all around and seems to sleep so well now. I just love looking at her. It takes everything in me not to pick her up and take her with me when I leave. We need her to start putting on the pounds so she can play dress up and come out of the isolette. We are just so thankful for her progress and pray that she continue to do so well and impress her doctors.

Tonight I would like you to pray for another baby who's mom I met through Lily's past doctor. They are having a tough time right now and probably facing heart surgery this week. Pray that they experience God's peace and comfort and that their baby boy will be infection free and that his little heart will heal. Pray that I can be there for them however they need me and that I can share fully God's goodness and love.

It is so overwhelming how many babies are there and how sick some are and how long some have been there. It can really upset you if you let it. But I know God has plans for our precious Lily and that He will carry out the good work He has started in her. Have a great day!

Lily is making so much progress!! I am so happy for you. One supplement is Lecithin, which is suppose to thin the milk out and open the ducts. The second is Fenugreek (spelling?) and it boosts production. They can both be found at Whole Food stores (GNC, or anywhere that sells organic foods). Goodluck!
